Collina del Faro: A Harmonious Blend of Architecture and Nature

The inspiration for Collina del Faro stemmed from the natural beauty of the coastal city of Torres. The project was developed to create a dialogue between architecture and nature, bringing the natural allure of Torres into the apartments. The result is a building with staggered floors, creating suspended houses that gently blend with the landscape of Farol Hill, offering a privileged view of the sea.

Collina del Faro stands out for its unique properties. The building's volumetric composition fits perfectly with the topography of Farol Hill. The apartments, apart from having a large private internal area, offer a direct view of the city's beach, with a social space containing outdoor pools along the facade.

The project utilizes common materials and technologies of the coastal region of Rio Grande do Sul. The structural system of reinforced concrete was used, sealing in masonry walls and external coating with tiles. The balconies have large-format ceramic closures and glass that are kept in the pools, serving as water containment, making the pool an extension of the sea.

The residential building is situated on a site of 1292m², with six floors. The ground floor serves as the foyer access and garages of the building, and the other floors house the apartments. The building has only eight exclusive units, two per floor, with sizes ranging from 280m² to 520m². All units have four suites, one being a Master suite with a balcony and bathtub. The social areas of the apartments face the sea and are integrated with the balconies that have swimming pools.

The project was based on a deep analysis of the site constraints, such as topography, solar orientation, and interesting views, as well as the city's own urban legislation. The challenge was to produce a building that dialogues with nature and its surroundings, guaranteeing luxurious apartments for the future residents of the building, who can connect with the natural beauties of Torres-RS from their own apartments.

Collina del Faro is currently under construction. The project is a testament to the power of architecture to enhance and reflect the beauty of its natural surroundings, offering residents a unique living experience that connects them with the natural world.
